Rental Tips
- You must have
a valid driver's license and major credit card to rent an auto.
In most cases, debit cards can be used on return, but not to rent.
You must have an actual credit card in order to rent.

Check
the auto carefully before you leave the lot. If you see any
scratches, dents, or other damage, report it to the attendant
before leaving. Make sure he notes it on your rental contract
in case of a dispute.

Always
fill the tank before returning it.

If
you are traveling with a child, remember to pack your car seat
or arrange to rent one from the auto rental company. If you
child is under five years old, most companies will not allow
you to leave the lot with out one.

If
you get into an accident on your trip call the Auto Rental Company
immediately to report the accident. In most cases, you will
need to file a police report. As soon as you get home, notify
your insurance agent of the accident to make sure you have filed
all the necessary paperwork.
Tips
for Traveling with Children and Family

Warn
the kids about talking to strangers. Tell them to yell as loud
as they can whenever they are frightened.

Children
must be in car seats or use a safety belt. It is a good idea
to pack your own.

If
your car is equipped with child safety locks, feel free to use
them.

At
the hotel, show the kids how to dial 911 in case of an emergency.

Make
sure they know your secret code word and they do not open the
door to strangers.

Check
the hotel room for safety hazards like Venetian blind cords,
or exposed outlets.

Set
a time and place for your family to meet in the event you are
separated

Carry
a cellular phone in case of an emergency

Leave for the airport in time to arrive 2 hours
